Notes.
People taking pictures of the ocean at sunset from Ala Moana beach in downtown Honolulu, Hawaii. We had dinner downtown and then went to the beach just as sunset was coming on. I didn't have a tripod so I made a trench in the sand to sit the camera in and started shooting. Got some pretty cool long exposure shots out of it, and the sand proved to be super-stable, although I walked around for the rest of the evening with half the beach in my beard.

nice tripod solution. and this is really beautiful. i like that the figures are mostly on the left and the right side is more open.
